Drevomax began producing pellets in 2003, at a time when people still confused wood pellets with pallets.
The advantage of our pellets is their maximum purity, as only clean sawdust without bark is used in production, which is an invaluable benefit. During combustion, our pellets do not create clinkers in the combustion chamber, ensuring reliable and high-quality burning. How does the production process work? The process begins with the input of sawdust and shavings from the storage. These come from our own production of debarked round timber, as well as from the production of Euro profiles. Next is the adjustment of the consistency and moisture of the sawdust. This is followed by the pressing phase, where sawdust is extruded through a metal die under high pressure and temperature. The pellets then go through a cooling and sorting process before being transferred to the storage. Throughout the entire production process, quality is monitored to ensure that the final product meets even the strictest quality requirements of the EN plus standard. From there, the pellets go through an automatic packaging machine, where they are precisely weighed into bags of the desired weight and then placed onto pallets by a robotic arm and stored in the dispatch warehouse.
The pellets are CO2-neutral, environmentally friendly, and have a significantly lower sulfur content compared to coal heating.
